Food Blog “…with love”.

Introductory Statement

This strategic plan has been developed by Anna Zemly and her partner Denizcan Ozden to provide a disciplined approach to the management of “…with love” over the next two months – April and May. This small business will be a beautiful addition to the food industry and will reflect only positive emotions, such as love, care, supporting each other and spending valuable time together while cooking. The idea of a “couple food blog” has been in my mind for a long time now and it’s time to make it happen. 

Background statement/history

  • When was the organization formed and why? 

We got the idea of doing a food blog together on the very first day of our dating, we both enjoy cooking and spending a good time together. The focus of the blog will be to remain casual and use anything we can find in the fridge on the night we have a date. 

  • What led to it being formed?

The desire to share great recipes we have discovered together while cooking. 

  • What key changes have occurred since it was formed?

We started documenting the good recipes, as well as perfecting them. We started filming the process and the results. Having more fun while cooking because it gives us a sense of creating original content together. 

  • How is the organization governed and how is it staffed?

It’s two people at the moment, and later on “…with love” is going to be working with more professionals in the industry of content creation and food industry.

  • What support is received from which agencies and what level of support has been received?

Wasn’t been received yet, but we are planning to work with food chains, food industry events, restaurants, food bloggers, etc. 

Management Board and Channels

The two main people in the frame cook together romantically. 

We are planning to have a media team that will include the photographer/videographer, an assistant and a content editor. All team members will be required to travel with us. Besides that, we will have a financial advisor and a lawyer to protect our rights as content creators. 

We are planning to mainly use TikTok as well as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube for our business, as those 4 are main in the food industry. 

Organizational Tenets

  1. The organisational vision (what we want to become): we want to become a well-known and trustworthy platform of recipes and couple inspiration, by providing high quality content to the food industry. 
  2. The mission statement (what we want to achieve overall as a platform):
  • Gain 10K plus follow by the end of May
  • Create at least 60 videos/photos/reels over next two month. 
  • Build the connections with other people and businesses in the industry.
  • Create 5-10 retail products for cooking and write 1 book with the original recipes created by “…with love’.
  1. The values (the standards of belief that we adopt and which shape the way in which we present and behave as an organisation): welcoming platform, empathetic, caring to provide fun activities for other couples, authentic (we want to keep it realistic, simple but fun), responsible (we will be focusing on healthy meals and on the budget), experience (seek to provide a positive and safe experience for our followers on social media).

5 SWOT Analysis 

  1. Strengths: Trusted and high recipe book sales exposure. Healthy meal prep ideas. An activity for couples. Entertaining content. 
  2. Weaknesses: Takes time to build the audience. Poorly optimized SEO atm (will be working on it over April and May). Big competition in the market. 
  3. Opportunity: Optimize recipes e-book for responsiveness and some feedback. Gain a wider target audience. Work on SEO to get better traffic and improve the performance of the platform. 

Evaluation 

We believe that there is nothing more joyful to people’s eyes than two beautiful people and good food. Food Blog is a good idea because it’s something that we do every day – we cook. It’s a lot of fun and allows you to gain new skills. This platform will be educational, as well as very entertaining for the audience.
